We all know the traffic getting power of organic social media marketing. But let’s be honest, it takes more than just whipping up a profile and hoping for the best (although, a killer profile is the start of it all) to see any REAL traffic!

Before you blast off into the social media stratosphere, you need a solid foundation. That’s where this learning system comes in! It’s packed with step-by-step guides to help you build optimized profiles on…

Navigating The Social Jungle:

Remember, each social media platform has its own unique vibe. Some, like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, thrive on building a strong follower base to spread your content.

Others, like TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube, prioritize optimizing your content itself to get discovered through search.

Take Pinterest as an example. Its “Home Feed” is a curated mix of content tailored to the user’s interests, coupled with a search function. It’s essential to optimize your content to appear in these searches. There are specific strategies for doing this.

 

Similarly, TikTok’s “For You Page” offers a stream of videos aligned with the user’s preferences, and your goal should be to feature in these searches. Again, there are specific strategies for doing this.

 

YouTube’s “Homepage” presents videos based on the user’s history and preferences, again let me highlight the importance of search optimization. And you guessed it… YouTube has specific strategies for doing this. 😉

 

While mastering every platform at once might sound tempting, it’s like trying to climb Mount Everest without training. Instead, focus on one platform first. Dive deep, learn the ropes, and start generating that sweet, sweet organic traffic. Once you’ve got the hang of it, you can expand your reach to other platforms.

Prime Your Launchpad For Liftoff:

While you’re mastering your first platform though, don’t forget to set up profiles on all the other platforms you might consider using. Consistency is key! Having a presence on multiple platforms builds trust and reinforces your brand identity (think of it like having your name on everyone’s guest list!).

Pro Tips for a Smooth Landing:

Brand Yourself: Use the same usernames, profile names, and branding elements across all platforms. This creates a unified identity and makes you instantly recognizable (think of it like having a signature style!).

Be a Visual Rockstar: Use the same professional profile picture and cover image across platforms. Canva’s “magic resize” tool can help you easily adapt them to different dimensions. Who needs Photoshop when you have magic, right? 😉

Let’s Launch Into Organic Social Media Traffic:

Time to get to work! I will start posting the guides in the next post, starting with Facebook.  I will continue with the other guides in the order posted above. You will need to pick your first platform and dive into the corresponding guide. If it’s Facebook, use the Facebook guide. If it’s Youtube use the Youtube guide. You get the idea.

Once you have that first profile setup and you’re working it to get traffic, set up profiles on the others using those handy consistency tips I just gave you.
