One of the things I like to do from time to time is write a post that is purely motivational… no mention of products, marketing, or business opportunity… just some words of encouragement that I hope helps my readers.
I usually go to the web for my ideas, and a favorite site is brainyquote.com.
I made the decision tonight that no matter what the first quote listed was, that would be my assignment.
So, here it is…

When I think about these words, the first thing that comes to mind is this: You are responsible for your future success… or lack of it.
I see many people out there that try to put the blame for their lack of success on something or someone else.
That’s NOT the way!
It is much better to take command of your situation and make the necessary changes to insure your positive results… no excuses… do whatever it takes.
If it means more work… do it!
If it means learning something new… do so!
If it means getting a mentor to show the way… then invest!
… Whatever it takes!

The next thought that strikes me is this: Don’t rely on chance for your future prosperity!
No one owes you anything… you have to reach out and earn it!
If you’re waiting for your ship to come in, it’s already sailed to a different port of call.
