Once upon a time…
I fell for all the hype… I bought every “Shiny Object” I could find. I really didn’t even make enough to pay for all those expensive new programs and products.
It was like a Freddy Kruger nightmare slowly cutting my wallet’s throat.
After 3 years, I was still spinning my wheels. I was working my tail off, for nothing. Finally, just before I was about to throw in the towel, I discovered a key new concept.
During the California gold rush, many of those getting rich were NOT the gold miners! Many of the most successful were the ones that were selling tools to the gold miners.
This changed my whole focus. Instead of trying to sell the newest, hottest juice or pill, I was going to refocus my business around the concept of “selling shovels” instead of “mining gold”.
Don’t take me wrong… there’s nothing wrong with “mining gold”. There is a definite need for these products… I use them myself.
And I’m not saying that “mining gold” is not worth going after. I’m not suggesting that you can’t be successful with that type of business opportunity… you definitely can!
But it certainly isn’t just “cut n’ paste”… it takes hard work.
The truth is there are many tasks that are required to achieve that success… like building websites, creating squeeze pages, driving traffic, and taking massive action!
However, I wouldn’t define those tasks as “hard work”!
Hard “work” is waking up to an alarm clock every morning at 6:00 in the morning to punch in a time clock and report to a job that may or may not be there next week.
If you compared the work required to make money online to the work you have to put up with dealing with rush hour traffic… online marketing is child’s play.
And I confess, I enjoy being able to sit at home for a few hours a week producing extra income on auto-pilot with multiple income streams working for me at all times.
I’m willing to bet a few bucks YOU would enjoy the same lifestyle.
Ultimately, that’s why you’re here… to live out your unique dreams and goals!
